That would be a little too close for me as well! What an experience! But being there is the best part of all for me! I like how her husband was there for her all the way! sam

Great all turned out well. Nothing like a precious new born baby girl to bring happiness. 
Every one of my children's and grandchildren's births has brought me so much joy.
My firstborn daughter sat in the car as I rushed her to the hospital to give birth to my grandchild, Missy. She kept yelling, "Mom, help me" as I explained "I am trying to."
I had never driven so fast in my entire life. She did make it to the hospital in time, but it was scary.
