Wiley does like to get things done, but he should pace himself as you as implored him to do! It good to have help and the lad is learning as well, so it's a win/win for everyone! I liked your poem, it is time to be one with nature while it lasts! sam

Yes good idea Kabu I would like one of those ride ons but I have too many trees. Liked your poem, and your determination to add character to your garden.

There is something about our yards that seems to get deeper and deeper under our skins year by year, and like you and Wiley, I love it. I thought your poem was nice too. Now you two remember you have all summer to do this and if you get it all done to soon you will have to refocus on the house...So slow down and get to know those gnomes a little better.

Wiley is indefatigable! And that 11-year old I'm sure has a blast mowing your lawn on his tractor! I know I would, and I'm almost 14...

Wiley's quite the worker there...That's great about the neighbors mowing...Things sound tranquil outside.

I echo Pat_B's comment. And love the poem, Kabu - I can picture your yard and flowers as I read it.

You two are the living example of a working marriage partnership.
I know the shrubs are going to give the new shed the look of long established. :)

Loved that poem, gentle, made everything feel so green and growing. Yes, now you can go plant and I shall sit, or snooze. I'm happy about jobbing out the grass cutting now and of course VAC pays for it and it will help that family. I love you
