Nature has so many important lessons to teach mankind and is always, in my case increasing the awe and love for God, our creator, whom it reflects.

What a beautiful post. Anyone with a heavy heart would be uplifted just in reading it. You would do well to write as long as God's grace allows you to do it.

Kabu
Kabu, this post is so healing to me. I am sure it is for our dear Ahdnor. You know how to care for yourself; however, you also know how to care for us and we come running when a new post is made to see what we can take into our arsenal of good. God bless you dear lady.

Yes Kabu, nature does calm. After all our trauma lately, we decided a walk around the lake would help. We saw a mother goose, 4 goslings, and papa goose going for a swim. Seeing how mama and papa goose watched over their little ones touched my heart as do your posts.

Kabuiepie-;)
And you brought your cup which 'runneth over'
and poured it into mine and calmed all the lonliness of my life, and then set about creating your animal kingdom. I watch you Mrs.wonderful woman, and like the needles on the fir trees, my love expands for your happy, peace filled attitude, minute by minute, year after year.

I too find peace and understanding in natural settings.
It's inspiring to see other creatures weaving their lives among settings over which they have no control, taking this for granted. Unlike us at times who try to maintain the illusion that we are in charge. We can control our response to all of it -- sometimes. Not always.

It's a shame that more people don't share your views on nature. Some just like to "abuse" it for their own selfish pleasures, and many suffer for it. Sometimes I really, really feel sorry for the animal kingdom, being stuck on this planet with such a destructive being such as we. I'm glad you appreciate "the land" as much as my wife and I do.

Nature has made a major impact on my life as well...It still amazes me that there is still so much to see, and even what has been seen is slightly different every time.
