Oh, I know what you mean, I got real sick just turning dirt in the garden. I think it was the nicotine lozenges I have been taking too long I think...Haven't had one since.

I think we just have days like that no matter the age! I know it's happened to me! In fact, today we are supposed to warm up nicely but the wind is blowing and I checked the hourly temp and wind velocity to see when the best time would be, and it gets later and later in the day before I strike up my band so to speak! So, by tomorrow I will be echoing what you have said today! LOL! sam

Dear Kabu
Not to worrry, just do what you can easily and forget it. I can win a war in my mind still and can only sweep or mop but not both in one morning. Love the spring you and the kitty have a fun day.

Why not relax and take it easy, doing a little bit at a time? I mean, what's the rush? Is Wiley cracking the whip?

I struggled to get the things done today that had to be done and left the rest for another day, telling myself that I was adjusting to the change of seasons. You'll see that tomorrow will be a better day!

I'm with Mariss.... you probably still have some residual fatigue from the trip. Or maybe your body is just resting up to prepare you for when spring/summer come into full swing. Go easy on yourself.

Maybe still recovering from your trip and from a cold winter that you had to stay inside with. Maybe Spring will cause you to spring back.

As I love gray, gloomy weather, I'm always sad to have winter come to an end. So sad that we did not get any snow this year.

On the spur of the moment yesterday I began some porch cleaning and actually got more done than I had intended. Seeing me do it prompted Son #1 to get into the act and he brought out hot soapy water and a stiff brush and began cleaning all the rails of their winter's collection of bird poo.

Yes it's funny I feel I could sleep I need too really keep drinking coffee. The trouble is I think one tires oneself out by planning what to do. I think it is better to just muddle around and do little jobs as they pop-up. A funny thing happened today I jumped off a wall that was a about 2 feet high, I nearly ruptured myself, but then I found the chronic pain in my calves had moved higher up my legs. So it only hurts when I sit down now. These little things are sent to help us a long somehow.

I suffer the same, did so this time of the year even when my health
was excellent, Dear Kabu. I think we're still recovering from the dreary mindset of winter and being cooped up indoors plus spring has a dreamy quality; so soft and warming and swollen with new life and the possibilities therein. The awakening will come, yawn..:)

To-do lists are worthless here this time of year unless they're outdoors.

Spring fever: that's what happens to us.
Mama used to say the main symptom of spring fever is when the iron in our blood turns to lead and settles to the bottom. :)
