I have a friend who does coupons and says she saves a lot of money. I have not done them much, but try to buy the sales. I read the post that comes after this one and am glad your husband was able to get them to somehow reduce the medicine cost. If we need his advice how he did it we'll be in touch :)

Couponing
I think I saw you in the store, rushing around with all your coupons.  When you have to backtrack you know you are in trouble.  Love your insights on life in our times - and at our age!

justi
I'm sure you pursued this but don't forget to ask the pharmacist about the "generic" version of what was given to you at the Dr's office - typically cheaper and more often than not, covered by medicare.   I'm just not organized enough to do the couponing thing but I watch those shows with great fascination.

Well folk are lucky here free pills after 60 as long as they are not terribly expensive, of course we cannot afford it, once it was free everything,  cartoons would show the family walking around with glasses even the cat. A lady I know was refused pills by her doctor so she changed doctors and he just wrote them out for her. I think it is really mean not to let you have the pills and I think you should tell the doctor so.
