Think of it this way...keeping your mind, and body busy is good exercise

Kabu, you're absolutely right..there's nothing we can do about the sad
state of the world, so we might as well relax and enjoy our little corners of it...yesterday was a beautiful early fall day here, too, but today is a "soaker" and much cooler...and of course its the first official day of fall....

Well as long as you feel happy about it Kabu. I wish you had milder weather, but then things go mouldy, snow is quite a good insulator if the ground is not too badly frozen first. It felt a bit frosty here this morning, we usually get one baddy and then it turns mild again. Don't kneel without some protection or you will regret it in later life.

Kabuiepie-;)
So the birds in the tree got you thinking love. From that to eggs and then your nest egg that worries you, and not a thought about my golden egg that got really stomped on today. Never mind love, that's what we will survive on.LOVE

In Florida there's a forensic specialist named Dr. G. A lovely woman

with a warm smile. She looks so sweet you'd think her job was baking cupcakes or drawing winning lottery numbers -- something benevolent. But she's a medical examiner. Her job is to look at human remains and determine cause of death. She testified in the infamous Casey Anthony case. At any rate, the reason I mention this is because I was thinking of your most honorable and distinguished Mr. Grayson and almost called him "Dr. G."  It's not that he's not warm and fuzzy, or that he might not enjoy a bit of detective work. But he's so sleek and fog-like. Remember that famous poem?

Cats sleep fat and walk thin.
Cats, when they sleep, slump.

I know the poet's name, but for the life of me I can't think of it. He also wrote about fog:

Fog sits over the harbor and the city
and then moves on.

I love it when things are going well on the home front.
It's reason enough to forget problems on the world's stage.
