Re: Kabu
Nautikos yes I remember that post and it was scary for you and Jag. It is a bit weird...looking into the woods hearing smalling something and not being able to see. Australia is vilified for all its killer creatures and yet it is much more dangerous here I am thinking.

Kabu
It's nice to have lots of wildlife around! Here too we have quite a bit, although we're much more 'urban'. We even have coywolves (a coyote-wolf hybrid that is particularly common here in the Durham Region, you can check it out on the net!). I wrote a post on meeting up with one of 'em earlier this year...

Sounds like a perfect morning
Do you all have a window perch that would fit above the paneling that he could lie on? I love your kitty jacuzzi but be careful about the dryer. A friend's cat crawled in for some warmth and was not seen when the clothes were put in and not found until the cycle ended. OOOPs. She was most upset. I should write about the chickens we had once. OOOPs.

No doubt it was Sasquatch, come to see how the screen porch
project was coming along. I know what you mean about the slight musky whiff of skunk, breeze-borne and distant. It gets overwhelming by the time you can see the little guys. I kinda like their fearlessness, too.

Crikey Kabu I don't like that smell, I think that is out of bounds, It wouldn't have been Wiley's Abominable Snowman seeking a strong partner? Being as this is a lighthearted blog I wondered if you were about to give Mr Graysome his morning wash.

Hi, 'Bu!
What a delight to wake up to a post from you, and your adventures with Mr. Graysome the cat. Did you ever find out if it was a bear or not? Sis and I encountered a similar feeling when we went on our Girl's trip, on a hike in the mountains...just an eery feeling that something really...large...was around. Not something we wanted to mess around with!
Have a beautiful Saturday morning! It's gorgeous here; sounds like it's good weather there, too. And, oh, the porch is up and running, eh? Well, GOOD! Bet you're really enjoying it!!!
