Re: Elinjo
Yes, but I prefer doggie pee to graffiti, because at least as soon as it rains you can forget about it!

Elinjo
Graffiti 'artists' are motivated by the same instincts that make my doggie pee on the trees and fire hydrants in our neighbourhood - he's marking 'his' territory...

The activists and press show human nature. Peaceful efforts should make the news love. BC-A, Bill’s RJJst

I think I'm 50-50 about it. Sometimes I can't help but stop and stare. Other times it's ugly.

And I love that statue and the story behind it!

I am not big on graffiti, either! It clutters the vista so to speak! Shelly

In general, I do not like graffiti.  But, I must say that I enjoy the graffiti on the trains that pass in our town.  Some are artistically done.

Elinjo - Graffiti has both sides to it..some can be really beautiful drawings. Well apart from that I think if you want to vent your anger on some issues..that's not the way. Hope your grandson's cold gets better and see you soon.

Just goes to show that all is a matter of perspective.  One man's scribble is another's masterpiece....Mal

I don't like Graffiti at all but sometimes a wall can look attractive

I've seen some that's just nasty, but there has been some
that is amazingly beautiful. I understand marking up a public space is both an impulse toward freedom of expression and at times a big "screw you" to the powers that be. But I can also sympathize with the impulse to fill a blank boring wall with lively images and color.
