So was my Ex before she met me. Actually, she still was after she met me. I had to make her wait until she turned 19 and make her promise to finish school (Jr. college) before I would marry her. Unfortunately, after 40 she developed an attraction for wild young men instead of the stodgy old fogey I'd become. You won't ever do that to me, will you?

I read both of you frequently, so you don't have to check your counters. I don't always comment. Sometimes I think I have little to add. Too often its because I think I'm reading a worthless post and I wouldn't want to boost it's ratings by making a comment. Sometimes I just don't have the time to make more than one or two comments, if any at all. Only the first reason would ever apply to you girls. I love you both!

I think it is your blog and you are entitled to do what you wish with it. As long as you deliver interesting and/or thought provoking writing I could care less where it is -- I'll find it. The only possible drawback of constant switching would be that some might be turned off thinking you are fickle (love that word -- my brother used it to death when we were young). It can also be a problem for non-Top 10 blogs because some readers might give up searching for one of their favorite blogs after a while.
Personally, I think it makes life interesting (especially when you're #1) to see it moving around all over the place. Actually, I think it's funny as hell. I'd love to see you do a post on pets and switch it to Pets just to shake everybody up with that category having the #1 blog, if only for a day. Just don't fall into the trap of using tricks, rather than content, to draw readers. You would lose the best readers with that strategy. The rest would be lost when someone comes up with a better trick.
Deliver what I want to read, and I shall remain a fan. No strategy beyond quality and content is going to keep me for long. Unless you're female and flirt with me. Then I'll be yours for life.

I read this with interest. I am going to start a separate sports blog this weekend - weekend sports section I thought. I have taken to swiitching topics of my main blog according to the topic which relates to the most recent post.
Do you think that is a good idea or that I should leave it in Opinion?
