I love this comment. A little 2 month old that will be wondrful. Yes I hope your son will be there. They haven't a clue how important it is to us until they have their own. Have a lovely day just for having done a good job. A good job is the best you were able to do with what you had at the time. That is what I tell myself. May God bless you.

You have been so sweet to do this for me. Thank you and I would never have asked it if I had any idea it would be so much work.

I hope that you and your daughter both have a wonderful Mothers' Day weekend and that you enjoy each other and the company of your grandchild.

Justi you are so right... being a mother does not necessarily means having given birth... I know so many women of valor that raise other women's children as if they were their own... and what you said about wanting to call your Mom for advice... Heck, I still pick up the phone to talk to mine whenever something happens and its 6 1/2 years that she is gone. I guess that no matter how old we are when we lose our Mom, we all feel like orphans when it happens. I too am preparing for my daughters' visit. I got three... and the baby one just had a baby 2 months ago... but it is my son's visit I am looking most forward to, because he is single still and I fear this will probably be the last year I will have him all to myself. Soon he will get married and start his own family... and I will have to share him with his wife. Oh well I am not losing a son but gaining a daughter... hmmm... or so they say loll... Happy Mother's day to you Justi. xoxo

What a lovely post. I had to call my momma after reading this just to let her know I was thinking about her.

She has only one and I had three but it was easier in many ways in that day. She has a demanding career, a husband only home on weekends and she is totally caring and balanced with her son. I am so prioud of her.

I am really touched by what you've written here, it's so selfless:
"I need to prepare for a visit from my daughter who is a good mother in her own right and I want to make it special for her." I'm sure you will.

Thank you so much for the good wishes. I am sorry I do remember. After her death you began to go in a lot of new directions. I am sorry this will be a hard day. Be sure to do something fun. Talk to her, I have a lot of times. Of course if I heard any sort of answer I would faint, but it comforts me. Many hugs sweetie.

I lost my mother in October. This will be the first Mothers Day
without her. I can already tell it's going to be a hard one.
btw, I hope you have a great one, Justi!
