Thanks Laz

I'll probably stay with the surveys a little longer than you did because I really am using them in my thesis seminar and e-commerce course.  After the drudge work is done, I plan to use them occasionally just for fun.  Right now the surveys are just hard work that I'm sharing with anyone who may be interested.

You give good advice.  I have already seen the light.  After I've finished the classes in December I'll drop back to my favorites for fun.  Thanks, again.

I read you notapoet...but I seldom comment on blogs I read...you're doing good with your surveys...I did that too, three months ago when I was new here...my blogs have gone into three permutations since then, finding the right combinations to obtain and retain readership...you might notice that I have only four blogs... all the top four categories with three of them in the top ten of their categories with the fourth one working its way to the top ten as well. This was all in a matter of two weeks... Note also Chris2303, monitor his movements since he reappeared. he will provide you the best lessons on BN blogging. Note his system... ignore his comments...the man is different from his blogs...he is very good... albeit gay...not that there is anything wrong with that...

WileyCoyote

Thanks for the read.  Glad you like the blog.

I'm still pretty new here and not one to go out and beg everyone to read me as some seem to do.  Other than that, my main method is to respond to all, like you, who are kind enough to comment on my blogs.  Also, when I have more time available I try to read people I haven't read before and, if I find them entertaining or informative, make comments.  That is how I found you in the first place.  I understand that we can post links to blogs we find worthwhile.  I haven't tried that yet and I'm not quite sure how it is done.  But I'll give it a try one of these days.

Controversy and antagonism seems to prompt lots of clicks.  Personally, I believe if you can't say something nice its best not to comment at all.  Save it for a non-specific reference in one of your blogs unless compelled to respond to an attack.  Of course that's just the way I do things and it gets me about a cent and a half a day.

The best plan would probably be to emulate a couple of my personal favorites, Ariala and beachbelle, or Lazaras and Scoop.  There are many more who are quite successful without getting nasty about it.  I hope we'll both be among that number someday.

Stats

Interesting blog, interesting statistics as well. Strange how one such as myself with little BN knowledge, picked 2 or 3 of the top three categories to blog in. Question notapoet, how does one promote themselves?
