I'm one of those who always thought we should not discuss religion or politics
for fear of intolerance. After reading you, I think you may be right. Those who
kill in the name of God, are a danger to us all. Like they say, it is a smart thing
to do to stay close to your enemies so you know what they are up to. We can't
instill moral values in people who have none but I think God would want us to try opening
doors for them to change. I don't agree about being in Iraq, but I support those over
there trying to do just this. My best to all.

Hello old friend
It is good to see that you are still here, even better to see that you are learning, and your work as an author continues to inspire people. Keep up the good work, and remarkable journey towards global unity-

Ypou have such a clear strong voice, I agree we should talk
about religion on a global scale. It is imprtant to share diversity and more important learn to listen and respect different customs.

Afzal
It would be great if no one was allowed to spread hatred for any reason.

You know I agree with you on this I have long been of the opinion
that religious fanaticism has been the cause of all the most horrible wars going back to the crusades and beyond. Thats why I say God or Gods yes!, religion no!! True belief is eternal and should be internal as well, external expression should only ever be shared, never demanded or forced, to do so leads to the greatest hypocrisies.
As for the commenter that thinks Bush co-authored 9/11, while you have every right to express it, please hide your ignorance while commenting on a serious piece of writing.

You are so wonderful Afzal, so wonderfully tolerant and sympathetic, yes compassionate and sensitive...I so appreciate your writing this morning and yes I agree: "the society should act as a constant watchdog" ~ we should all be vigilant for each other...This touched my heart...God bless your day, my dear friend.

I agree
It is sometimes difficult to remain bias free and I find myself attacking views that seem distorted from time to time as I believe we should do. At least we do not physically blow up people. As for 9/11: It may well have been a Bush-bin Laden team effort. You know the two families are close friends don't you? And then there is this other guy in the picture who keeps on yanking the Cheney as well. What a Dick! (pardon my not so kosher use of someones name).
