Whiskey,
As is often the case, I've been lax on my follow up.  It was my intention to show how subsequent ratings had shown Fiction climbing from practically nothing to a current average of nearly four blogs per day -- more than half again the figure cited for seven days late in March.  Less than a year ago it was more normal for Fiction to have a single blog in the Top 100, if any at all.  Two or three in the rating at the same time was quite rare.  The current average of 4.0, and the cited average of 2.3, are both solid games over what had been the norm.  That is why I concluded Fiction is on the rise.  It's a trend that I hope continues.  I think we've lost many bloggers in the past because they were disappointed in the reception of Fiction blogs.  The recent surge, though small in the overall rating, may help stem that flow of disappointed bloggers out of Blogit.  I'll try to post more recent data to show this soon.  Thank you much for your keen-eyed comment.

Why do you say that fiction is on the rise? According to your stats, it only generates 2.3 blogs in the top hundred. This is one of my greatest disappointments with Blogit too.
