Equality
before God or in society is a notion. Therefore, its a goal. The rest of things we do, we do out of fear. I think?

Eventhough everyone is equal in the eyes of God, not everyone is equal before God. Maybe because not everyone is born equal, thus not everyone enjoys equal rights ... blah, blah, blah.
