The Hijab
in many in contemporary times, needs to be a personal choice, not forced on women. There are so many conscious, subconscious, political, social, economic and sexual reasons behind the hijab, burqua and head coverage for women, it's difficult to know where to start. But, lindo, do. It'll be good to have a dialogue on this.

I don't understand all this...one wants to wear a veil and the next doesn't..why can't it be something so simple as personal choice?

I'm not at all familiar with the whole conflict between Muslims and Hijab
but it is very interesting reading your observation and analysis. Just my opinion, though, in general, when religion mixes with politics, things are not always pretty.
I look forward to reading more about the subject.
