It is really hard to say. It is the way they were raised to believe. Though it's really hard for me to imagine that they never have that desire. But I guess you don't miss what you haven't had? I just don't have a good answer for this.

He seems to be a peculiar Indian . Indian men do not chase after women for sex in such a crude manner . Indian men always respect women and never disrespect women whether they are Indian or Western . I think the gentelman is having a mixed nationality.Thanks.

Indian men and women are both fairly ignorant about sex, as we don't have any sex education in schools, and nor do our elders talk about it openly. What little most of us know is through books, the media, peers and pornography. It has usually been presented to us as something wrong and shameful. The worst fear (as it was in the western world about 50-30 years ago) is that if young people know about sex, they will do it. Actually its the opposite. The little open talk about sex these days is due to HIV/AIDS. But, we have a long way to go and each of us needs to take responsibiity to create a society in which sex is a part of life.

there is an Indian male (educated in England- actually) who has been interested in me for over a year. I have never gone out with him... b/c the conversation turns to sex within 2 minutes. He (maybe due to his European education - maybe due to having tried to have a relationship with his own countrywomen) does not respect (Western) women. I have "called him out" on this several times. He has not given up on me... but I will never go out with him.
