Afzal, It’s not personally very satisfying but, what you say is true. Except for the very few, those who were very, very close to us and those who loved us very, very much, within a short time, we are mostly forgotten. Life, as you say, moves on. Really, I think it has to be this way. Life cannot stay stuck, focused on, longing for, missing the past. It has to move on. It is the nature of life. Of all of the billions of people that have lived, the great civilizations that have risen and fallen, the people who have lived, toiled, strived, failed, succeeded, cried, rejoiced, loved, hated, what do we know? What do we remember? Almost nothing. Millions and millions and millions of people; experiencing all of the joys and all of the sorrows that we face. All gone, dead, unremembered. Life is for the living. Even those who truly loved us, they too must slip eventually into partial amnesia. It is best for everyone that way. Just my thoughts. MoonSpirit

So what you're saying is that they just forget about us and move on?
Sometimes that is true...but not if someone is truly loved....they stay with us for a long time.

Interesting post - I wonder if it's true, in some cases, that laughter can actually help a person physically live longer - I suspect it can!
