Mysterious One...
One of my tasks at work involves recording data every 5 minutes. That takes about 2 minutes of reading various instruments. After that I observe what the fire is doing physically and make a visual reading of the opacity of the smoke stream. I also do adjustments to the equipment. This can contine for up to 8 hours with no break. During the latter part of the run, the stove is in a charcoal state and not much really happens. It is in those hours I truly appreciate how long a second can be.

Lovely, Mysterious Mysteria!!!! Many people/cultures/traditions/’religions’ deny that time even ‘is’; i.e., that time ‘exists’ as any independent reality. I think physics describes time as a function of space. Clearly it is ‘relative’; though it is neither aunt, grandfather, nor cousin. There is only the ‘eternal now.’ So, what of this thing called ‘time’. BTFofME.

Ive been wondering where you were and
kept checking.I want to address your previous post because I missed it.Thoughts can be a powerful way of controlling our lives.Thats why like you I try and kick negative thoughts to the curb.I wont let them control me.They try though. As far a time is concerned its a tricky one. When I met up with an accident a few weeks ago I wasnt sure how it happened or what I was doing when it happened or just before.Time became surreal.

Mysteria
I think we all have our own sense of time. When I anxious I measure my existence in nanoseconds. When I'm joyful a minute dissipates into thin air.

Interesting
I never thought about time much other than the fact that it seems to move so slowly when I am at work or bored.
And yes, life has been difficult, but each difficulty makes us learn something new.
