afzal - thanks for the informative post- yes indeed Friday is a very

special and blessed day in a Muslims life. Many a "good news" reached me on a Friday and one simply feels highly spriritually fulfilled after the Jumuah prayers.

A Question : How does Islam describe a Pagan? an unbeliever? an Athiest? are the two different in their belief/non belief? and have you ever been challenged regarding Muslim tolerance towards an unbeliever?

In Islam running water is treated as pure and clean and the best purifier .

In a way I guess.  I don't know about running water, but I know that many use water that is blessed.  I don't know a lot about too many beliefs to expand further.

I probably should have made myself clearer, Hahaha.  The rain ritual is my own creation.  I have no idea if other Pagans practice similar rituals or not.

As Pagans, when we want to cleanse something, one option for that is to throw it into running water (a lake, stream, river, etc.).  The standing in the rain thing is my way of cleansing my body, mind and soul in a similar way.

I am happy that you take a great interest in me and all my practices.

I am truly amazed at all the things you get done in a day! And, I am not surprised that you gain so much by being at Blogit.  It's a good time to evaluate what's important to you.

kudos!

i will never claim to be religious or to even respect those who are. its the spiritual people who i truly admire. those who practice a religion with an open heart, with faith, and with love are truly spiritual people. Those who adhere to the rituals for selfish or meaningless reasons are 'religious'. They are hypocrites.

not sure why im on this rant, to be honest...

i just wanted to say that i am impressed by your spirituality and acceptance and tolerance of others
