- no need to apologise for being political...it's what the poets have always done, so you're in good company.

Hello everyone - thanks for your comments.
Its especially difficult and controversial maybe to talk about politics in a meaningful way without alienating or scaring some people away, and not many people have commented today, but i'm glad I've responded to the recent events in this way. It is partly what blogging is for. But other days it'll be a fun blog, as you know. As Notapoet says, there was a bit of fun even in this sonnet. Anyway, I'm late for work as usual!

I love it.
From comic to serious and thought provoking in 14 lines.  Great job!

Tony
I had a hunch today's Sonnet would relate to the election...  well done.  Peace, unfortunately, is just as much an enemy as the war mongers (in some weird. round about way).  Oh, by the way, I didn't mean for my poem today to imply "dumping" was a onesided thing.  Of course men suffer the same demise from time to time...

Hi Tony !
Not funny is it, when you think about it, some are so well off, yet they always look for war ! Their the kind who take no prisoners, as long as their enjoying themselves ? A     A or do horses eat it
