Poetry has consistently been one of the strongest categories for as long as I've been around. It's been more popular lately than I recall before. When Poetry spikes up it is usually an indication of an influx of new bloggers. I guess most people want to try their hand at poetry at least once. The problem that occurs is that when so many people bunch into one category, quite a few get discouraged because they get lost in the shuffle. That's why bloggers like you, who take notice of (and comment on), posts to a category are so vital to the continuing good health of
Blogit.
