Mysteria, we have returned to an age of denial. Sick. I can't stand it.

Have you read Neal Stephenson's
The Diamond Age? In it, he postulates the balkanization of the world with corporate entities replacing national governments--one of these entities is Neo-Victorian, one of te most powerful, but still only one...and unfortunately, I think he is probably right...peace mysterious one...

the pendulum swings - conservative to liberal and back...
If these are indeed liberal times, then you may be right. The swing back to Victorian may be under way. I'm still feeling a lot of the 1950s attitude around, and not so much appreciation for the hippie movement of the '60s and '70s. Seems to me the thing is swinging toward more social programs, less war, but that could be hope talking.

That's an interesting thought
I post about some of the future possibilities that I see but I haven't seen a Victorian comeback in my head. I'm interested to hear your ideas because I would have guessed that we're a short way from frontal nudity on TV.

Man, I hope you're right. I would like to see people act a little more
moderately. What do I see? I will have to ponder that and post it later. For now, I'm off to work on my quilt.....:)
