I am not sure if there is necessarily such a divide between love and lust.  They are often interchangable, flow from one into another, and can exist together as well. They are both emotions, arising from the same origin - th esolar plexis, the seat of our emotions.  Therefore, both valid, needed and desired. I choose to see their similarities rather than their differences.
