Re: Jumping into Laps
My husband got me a new dog the day after my third laparoscopy. Of course, I was very sore and didn't want any doggie noses in my lap. Since this very friendly 70 lb dog wanted to say hello, he definitely elicited a major scream when he poked his nose into my midriff when I wasn't looking. He leaped across the room when I screamed and looked at me with a hurt expression in his eyes. "What did I do?" he seemed to ask. =)

True true!
I have also heard that there is actual scientific evidence that a cat's purr can help prevent cats from getting cancers in their bone marrow. Here's hoping I don't get brain cancer--I mean my Squeaky certainly purrs on my head enough to keep it away!
