a strong rendition of the destructiveness of a storm. I particularily like the last stanza, it is very powerful.  red

Very thoughtful and percise. I lived through one when it came by surprise and I was home alone.. Very Scary!

Have you been to Southern Indiana or Kentucky lately?? Excellent, real descriptions of what we're seeing here. Nice flow and poignant emotion too.

Very well done Quirky

Having lived in Kansas my whole life, I've been very fortunate to have never experienced this first hand. I've been a part of clean up several times though.

 Beautiful...yet tragic.  My husband's grandparents are farmers.  They've experienced the wrath of a nature's destruction.
