This is extremely moving
and especially so with so many young souls overseas right now.  Bless them all for their sacrifices.

Hello Ariel, that was great and thoughful of you to think of bringing in some thing on remembrance day today November 11th. Celebrating that day is the only way we can express our gratitudes to the many fallen heroes of ours. Once again congratulations and thank you very much.

Isn't it nice to have a thing like a personal computer.  I mean really...this and all of the great leaps in technology.  Makes complete sense to me...

Cosy

Thank you so much. It's no problem, really. I can read you okay, and be warmed and flattered by the sentiments that they express. I love to find some obscure aspect of history and write about it in a new, and I hope, interesting way. Bring history alive, you know.

I'm a great believer in the saying that he who knows not is history is doomed to re-enact it.

Actually, that story is tomorrow's post, 'cos I'm not sure if I shall have time to post another piece. But on Sunday, Remembrance Sunday, I shall post what I like to think is a very moving piece.

I don't know why my comments are coming out with spaces again...so I'm very sorry . I just wanted to say thank you for thinking of me and for reminding me of  such an important date...I will check out tom. post. You write beautifully  . I have so much to learn....so much to learn... about history. That was the one class I accidentally skipped all the time, lol.
