LOL! To all who are swearing off flu shots
None of you have a husband coming home in December with heaven knows what kind of cooties they bring back with them.  I'd rather be miserable NOW than when he is home.  I have my echinecia mix as well to cover all the stuff the shot doesn't.  I am going to be healthy when he gets home!  Thanks again!

Flu shots always make me sick!
That's why I never get 'em anymore.

flu shots
I got my first ever flu shot this year. The nurse said if you are going to have a bad reaction it would happen before you leave the building. I don't think that's quite right. I got a slight sore throat later.

Feel better soon! The only year I ever got the flu was the year I got the shot so I stay away from that thing.

I've missed you luv and I'm sorry you are sick. I had exactly the same experience this year but it passed in about 3 days.

No one I know has taken a flu shot this year for that very reason. I had one in 2000 and got the flu. I asked my doctor about it. He said that there are over 200 strains, and that the shot only covers five. I will never take one again. I have not had the flu since that time, and I work around it a lot. Hope your recovery is swift. Take lots of fluids and keep the Tylenol handy.

Sounds like a plan, MW.....

Relax and enjoy your day, in spite of your problem.  Glad to know all is well.

God bless.

MW,

I'm sorry the shot made you sick. Generally I don't feel any affects at all when I take one. Hope you are back up on your feet and recovered soon. Hey, there's a good movie on CBS tonight. Take a breather and enjoy the action. Shadow

Military_Wife, enjoy your comforter and warm tea.  It sounds like the right thing for you.

it always makes me laugh that they give out flu shots right as the
season is changing and people are susceptible to getting sick.  I mean, they're shooting the damn flu into you.    I hope you feel better soon!
