Sorry to take so long to check back in. Glad to hear that Carl past the test (though you. ., and all your readers knew he would) *grin*

He sees me in a much different light that I see myself, but you are right, it makes my heart soar each time he says it.

How does he see you?
The thing is, how does he see you that you don't listen to him?  He (if he's anything like my husband) probably says all sorts of things about how wonderful you are that make you laugh, or, if you are like me, respond with a comment that seriously downplays how he makes your heart soar.  You are one of the lucky few, which I am sure you already knew.  Tell him congratulations on passing his PT test!

Actually it's one of my favorites and I keep it on my bulletin board over my computer.   Father Dennis O' Brian wrote it....Marine Chaplin.

I really enjoyed your post.  It's funny how we see through the eyes of love what our beloved can't see himself.

Isn't that how it always works...others have more faith in you, than you do in yourself...seems that way most of the time......as always I enjoyed your post

Military...I thought you might appreciate this:

"It Has Always Been the Soldier"

It is the soldier, not the reporter who has given us freedom of the press.

It is the soldier, not the poet who has given us freedom of speech.

It is the soldier, not the campus organizer who has given us freedom to demonstrate.

It is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and show coffin is draped by the flag who allows the protester to burn the flag...

It has always been the soldier.

This thought is on a plaque that was given to our repair facility in honor of our donations to our local V.F.W.  It was presented to us by a Sergent First Class who is retired.  He served from 1958 to 1981.  I thought of you, today, while I was dusting it off!  Hope you like.

MW,

I had a old boyfriend who belonged to the National Guard that did the same stupid thingy. He collasped half-way around the track and spent 2 days in the hospital. Men can be so silly at times. Hey, more money!!!! Shadow
