Blanche
Classy name! Blanche Dubois ... makes one wish that one were called " General Hiram T Beauregard.
Ah, Dylan! One of my most memorable aural experiences was back in the 1950s, listening to a young Richard Burton reading Under Milk Wood. Golden days, when Auntie Beeb wasn't staffed by ignorant louts ; Gorgonian trollops and ill-bred barrow boys. Er ... you don't work for them, do you?
My epitaph : already written boy old Omar....
" And when Thyself with shining foot shall pass
among the Guests Star-scattered on the grass,
and in thy joyous Errand reach the spot
where I made one ---- turn down an empty Glass!"
Good luck with your blog

Ariel,
"Do not go gently into that good night/Rage, rage against the dying of the light!". I think Dylan had a different view of old age, but rage is draining and futile, and ultimately accepting the inevitable has more grace and nobility. Beautiful poem.
