uggggggh. I wouldn't like having THAT type of dream whatsoever. Horrible to say, but I'd rather NOT wake up thinking he was next to me if it was going to put me on edge and have me dashing to the computer in madness!!

Hi, MW, how are you?......

Other than being shaken up from your dream, I mean.  I would say that dream just reinforces his love for you and he was there in your heart to add to your comfort; also, the reverse.  There's no doubt in my mind that you two are super in love.  Licks  Haven't been on the computer for a couple of days - hope you missed me!  lol

Have a great day, God bless.

Military_Wife,

Dreams have been a comfort to me many times.  I tend to dream about things that really matter to me.  I find there is a correlation between what I think about in my inner thoughts and what I dream about.  If I miss my father a lot, on one certain day, I will dream he is next to me, smiling at me.  It is like my sub-conscious mind comes alive, when I sleep.

A lot of times, struggles and pressures of life will cause me to dream about certain overwhelming situations that are out of my control. Such as being late for work, because no matter how I try in my dream, I just can't get to work.  When I was attending the university, I'd have a continuous, re-occurring dream that I was given a test that I hadn't studied for and I hadn't known anything about, thus I was upset, because I knew, I didn't know the information.

I suffered nightmares for years, but now that I have reached homeostasis and I am content with enjoying getting where I am going in life, I seldom wake up anymore screaming or crying.

It would be nice if we knew more about dreams and there meanings.  Don't you think?

I am glad Carl is fine and loving you whereever he may be at the moment.  If he is anything like my hubby,  he'll have all kinds of fun teasing you in regards to your dream.  Take care!

First, I love you!  Poe is one of my favorites!  Second, I really like how you described that and I am going to chalk it up to just that.

All these years on this planet, and we still don't know what dreams are

they sure are fascinating though.  It's funny how often the subject of "out of body experiences" have come up in my life lately.  I was thinking about that as I was reading this.  I like to think that dreams are a lower-level manifestations of the heart's desire, and what we call 'reality' is a higher level manifestations of the same thing.  So he was with you.  The more vivid the dream, the more close to reality maybe. "all that we see, or seem, is but a dream within a dream."  Edgar Allan Poe

God bless

I think we all worry at least a tiny bit about the "what if's" when they are away. Trust your heart, I have seen some wives make themselves crazy over nothing.

dreams

I always had dreams like that when Troy was deployed.  Here lately, whenever he's out in the field for more then a day at a time I have dreams of him cheating on me.....don't know what that's all about.

I'm assuming that everything is okay?

I'm glad I usually catch your posts after you've figured out that what you were worried about was a false alarm...it makes for such easier reading for a mom.  Now, refresh my memory...when is he due back for good?

Thanks.  Sometimes these dreams tend to throw me "off" a bit.  He is fine and thinks I am funny as hell right now.  Thank you.

At the moment he is laughing at me as I explain to him that he was here last night.  He is such a butthead.  Thanks hon for the kind words.

MW,

Easy sweetie. I say that dream is about security rather than a problem. What I mean is secure in your love for each other. Don't go off in a frenzy. If the network is still up and running, then you have your answer. I know. When the system goes down over there, then you need to worry. There were a few times last year I got very concerned, but yet I still knew in my heart that everything was fine with my favorite solider. Shadow
