LOL! It does! But we are so much luckier than any other time. Some of the soldiers with him were in Desert Storm and I have heard horror stories about $8000.00 phone bills....I can't even imagine that! Now we have prepaid calling cards and the net...if I could just get the snail mail to move faster
Thank so much for your kind words.

To have your husband so far away, yet so close because of the internet would make just about anyone stir crazy. God bless you and your husband, and may he return safely home.

Someday your "Angels" will be safe thanks to your husband and the countless others that are serving over there. God will watch over them. After all, I believe that he sent them to look over your husband

OK, we'll allow
you to be a big ding bat for this one time, don't however feel that you can make a constant habit of it. Glad the news is all good. I'll try to remember to send you a copy of the picture when I get it back from the artist who is doing the painting.

I do appreciate your offer and I fully intend to take you up on it soon. I have a ton of tomatoes to can this week and then next week the girls and I are going to Frankenmuth for a day...but before the summer ends we should make plans to head for the lake or meet at Borders.

Thank you. I hope on some level I put a human side to our soldiers, not just my husband but all of them. He is unique as we all are...but in the end he is just like every other soldier out there. Simply trying to survive and get home to his/her family.

Factor
I usually ask others to pray when he is off and gone like this and I believe that is why he has always come back safely. This day, it was just needed that much more.

You know I usually take it all pretty well...nobody ever takes any of it well. To realize how very close I was to losing him really took it out of me today. I took a short nap and am feeling alot better now.

God loves you and your husband and he cares so much about
What's going on in your lives...we just forget sometimes bec we dont need his help every single day the way you do right now. I too, am thankful that those Angels were there.
You gotta stop worrying so much though. You don't want to have a heart attach and die before he gets home, do you? So take some deep breaths and say out loud, "My husband is coming home safe and sound!"

did you get the truck running? And no it does not sound crazy...remember you are talking to the woman that KNOWS she can feel her husband on the other side of the world.
Thanks so much!

Military Wife...
This is going to sound crzy, but as I sat in my truck today, broke down on the side of the highway, I thought about you and your husband and I willed good things to you! I'm happy for you! Good luck with the rest!
