Luckily we have so much technology now that we don't go without contact for more than a couple of days ever. Heck, I don't pee without my cell phone right there LOL! We are so lucky to have what we have now and I know it...but sometimes it can actually add to the worry because you know when to expect contact and if it's late...OH MY!

I can remember when my other half was away on duty for 7 months. I used to hate it if I missed a call, He was on a satellite phone so there was no guarantee I would get a call back anytime soon. Take care.

You might want to start making a list of all those gifts, presents and
Favors he owes you. Keep a journal of what he did to worry you and the 'penalty'--- then when he gets home, you can show him in black and white.

We tend to break up conversations between our own code and past conversations. It's kind of remember when so and so went on that last mission? I answer yeah, well I'm going to be going there and hanging out with joe and tom.
Given I know where so and so went, and I know what Joe and Tom do for their jobs and I know his job and how it relates to theirs so I know what he is doing. It's really messed up....guess that is the good thing about 9 years together we understand one another even if nobody else does.

Isn't it amazing the difference with cell phones and all -- I mean, the movies of WWII with the slow letters and all!! Actually, I'm surprised he's able to tell you stuff like that...so many wives and husbands would not be able to handle it and be basket cases...looks like they would collect cells and stuff..I didn't know they were that accessible...live and learn...of course, I live with my head up my...no, my head in the sand ( I am tryin' to be kinder to myself!)

LOL! seriously I appreciate, but in "general" I am the rational one, when one of the soldiers wants one of my "girls" told something that is going to upset them, they email me to do it. The circumstances were extreme today and I was terrified from the second he told me what was up. I promise, I usually only get this nuts when my mother in law comes around and she isn't allowed around me LOL!

This is not a normal occurance for me. Today was a bit different kind of mission and one that I have not learned how it works yet...it takes me a couple of times to know what to expect. This was one mission in which I heard fear in HIS voice yesterday...that rattled the hell out of me, because even though I knew he had to be at least somewhat scared on others, this one he wasn't able to cover it.

OK....I've stayed away because my panties have been in a wadall afternoon and I knew I would sound like a mean mama if I got on here and started in on you but I just really wanted to shake you...hug you....shake you....hug you.... You just cannot be sending this stuff out into the universe, baby.....you cannot be doin' it to yourself...not good for you. Shit happens...delays happen...that place where he is does not run smooth and you know it so you cannot be playin' these mind games with yourself or you will have so many grey hairs the man is not gonna recognize you when he gets home...plus, he will pick up on your anxiety and he does not need to be worryin' about that when he has the stuff he has to be dealin' with over there. You are a strong woman and droppin' a chain on the floor has nothin' to do with anything.
