Go to I WRITE, THEREFORE I AM

- Go to ABILITY without AMBITION is like a computer without a mouse.
I absolutely agree.
Recently, I asked myself why I didn't write novels, etc. The answer is: No passion. My passion lies in other areas of writing, and other arts.

Quirky, I hate to say it, it sounds so today, but I have really prospered
since the dawn of the computer age. It just makes publishing such a breeze. I used to have a manual typewriter, and even an electric in grad school, but it's not the same. One mistake and I was always ready to start the page over. The whole page! Thanks, and later!

It's always tragic isn't it to see people who have the desire but no talent?
Did my advice on the number work? If not try with another 3. Had I known about this I could have tried for you a few weeks ago and would have been happy to do so. I think this is sufficiently cryptic for no one to have a clue what I am saying. Just saying so here because of your email gremlin

Quirk,
I agree with Jimmie. It takes both desire and talent and not just in writing. Ask any person who is in any competition field from sports to becoming CEO of a major corporation. Shadow

The trick is to have both the talent and the desire...
plus a work ethic...

Unfortunately, sometimes a burning desire and refusal to quit can overcome lack of talent. Hemlocker
