Further response on earnings
Here's why projected earnings can change significantly, whether or not rankings are improving. Say someone clicked on your blog today, and it happens to be the only blog they've clicked on this month. In that case, you'll be getting all of their payment to writers, and your projected earnings would rise by as much as $6.48.

If, tomorrow, the same person returns and reads just one or two other people, you will no longer be getting all of their payment to writers. As a result, your projected earnings for the month would decrease, by as much as $5-6 based on how many writers the person read.

As you can see, the projected earnings could increase or decrease by as much as $5-6 simply by one person's actions, even if other people are continuing to read you.

You can also find more on this topic in the Blogit Help page titled, Tracking Readership, Rankings and Earnings.

Thank you.

Does it answer the question?
No. Not when the blog moves from somewhere in the high 200's down to around 80 and the number of clicks seems to have increased over the days in question compared to before. A 70 cent drop in the projected earnings ( a 40+% change in a day) just seems excessive, especially since the amount has jumped up by 50 cents since then.

Earnings etc.

Your earnings forecast is only a forecast until the 1st of each month when you'll see the exact earnings for the previous month. Furthermore, you may find your earnings' forecast drops (sometimes only temporarily) because of the following reasons:

1. Your existing readers are taking a break from Blogit.

2. Your existing readers may not be reading you as often, or they may be reading many more writers recently, thus changing the proportion of your earnings from their writer payment for the month.

3. You may not have attracted as many new readers as you did earlier in the month.

4. And, finally, since each reader's subscription fee is divided between writers at the end of that particular reader's monthly cycle, it may take up to two months for writers to receive all of their earnings from a new reader. For example, if a reader visits your blog on April 25, and their monthly cycle ends on May 20, their payment will be included on your June 1 statement.

The  Writer's Account Summary includes the forecasted earnings for the current month. This forecast is calculated by estimating all the payments you will receive from readers by the end of the month, based on how often each reader currently reads your blogs.

Since people change their reading habits over time, please note that the forecast is subject to change and is only intended for informational purposes. Your final statement, issued at the end of the month, will show your actual earnings.

Here are some suggestions that may help increase your blog's readership, which in turn helps improve rankings and earnings:

Please let us know if this answers your question about earnings.
