Enforcement of Blogit Policies

We are very careful to review reports of potential violations thoroughly and without bias towards any individual, and we do not take any action lightly.

However, due to privacy reasons, we cannot disclose all of the details publicly. As a result outside observers may see only one side of the story, so it is not always obvious why we have taken action or the exchanges we have had with the suspended member. We can tell you that in a typical situation, we only suspend an account after repeated warnings.

The purpose of the Conduct Policy is to allow everyone equal opportunity to participate on Blogit. For full details on the procedure we follow, please see the Policy Violations help page, which may be found here:

For your information, the Conduct Policy may be found here:

The Conduct Policy and the review process was created with a great deal of input from the Blogit community. If you have any suggestions on how we can improve the Conduct Policy or the review process itself, please let us know. We take such suggestions very seriously.

Again, Blogit Staff does not take actions lightly. We are keen to keep all Blogit members happy with Blogit and as paying subscribers. Suspending a Blogit subscription goes against both those goals.

Please also note that Blogit Staff cannot monitor each of the hundreds of thousands of blog posts and comments. We look to the Blogit community to email us about any posts or comments that might be in violation of Blogit’s Conduct Policy.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Blogit Team
