Campgroup Capers

Rolly and I were napping in the shade of Dad's Marine style lean to. Naps we're this three year olds favorite thing to do, but the truth was it was hard to beat quiet time under the pines. I liked the smell of the sun's warmth on the War Surplus Tent and the concert of the river below with the Blue... Sign in to see full entry.

Waffle?

(Tigger's favorite treat) A recent blog I read reminded me of our experience with "Tigger".We adopted him, extra baggage and all. He was a beautiful white Pomeranian with apricot highlights and had been neglected and abused. He was unruley. He would bite and bark up a storm and mark his spot all over... We took our Guinie Pig on the road up to Big Sur! We drove across from Mission San Antonio via G14 which took us up and over to the Jade Festival and hometown fun before luxerating and indulging in the catered feast at the Hawthorne Gallery's Anual Gala! The best part was camping under the stars and... Sign in to see full entry.

Cousco

Finally we have re-named our prized Guinie Pig! She is a he! Yup! So our cutsie Tamil name "Ambu" (love) doesn't cut it for a boy toy! So, my sweethard came up with "Cousco" in honor of the Peruvian Dish! We don't plan on eating him...just cuddling up and cooing with him...he is sooooo cute! Sign in to see full entry.

Smokey Joe

He's up for adoption at the local pound for the third time! Evidently people take him home and return him shortly thereadter because he's got "issues". Well, who doesn't! Poor dog. I think he's getting a bum rap and needs a chance to get trained and loved. Unfortuantely, our landlord only allows... Sign in to see full entry.

Angel in Black and White

The flashing lights from the pollice car were a welcomed sight, since I was lost in a town strange to me and with only minutes to get to my daughter's Hockey Tournament. It had been years since I had driven in snow and it was my firtst time searching for the Olympic Rink in Provo. It was 4:30 AM and... Sign in to see full entry.

Motorcycle Dawgs

Not every dog gets to ride on a Harley. Helmets and scarves boast of these cool, tail waggen pooches! Snazzy in fitted leathers and harnessess, I find these often sassy dawgs to be finest and the freindliest. There must be something totally spiritual for these pets to ride llike the wind!
