Grey and drizzly...

Road Trip!

Next Tuesday and Wednesday, Marika and I will drive over the moors of northern Yorkshire to the coastal town of Whitby. Do you remember Whitby? Remembrance

We visited an old churchyard in Great Mitton yesterday afternoon. It was closed up, but the outside of this small medieval church suggests that the inside, with sunlight coming through the stained glass, is quite beautiful. Beautiful day in Lancashire!

Arriving early on Sunday morning, the drive from Manchester to Whalley (pronounced like Woolley ) was pleasant and fairly quick. From Atlanta

Sitting in the Atlanta airport, 8 hour layover reduced to 7 after the flight from CoSprings was delayed... I'm flying! I'm flying...!

Thinking happy thoughts! Tomorrow morning at 6:30am, just as dawn is beginning, my flight is due to tear down the runway, and roar into the air above Colorado Springs.
