I Need A Linguist Over Here...

I work every day with people who speak very little English. I work with soldiers from all over the world. The Italians, Polish, Mongolian and British (who obviously speak English but use terms and phrases I may not understand). I deal every day with the Afghan Army and Police. The local nationals... The Great Whiners...

Quiet days are the best days...

Today was a good day. A quiet day is a good day. Some think that this is the one that will drive you crazy. When there is nothing to do but wait for the worst. The soldiers that have issues back home will spend to much time in there own head. This is when some of us must check in often with anyone... Sign in to see full entry.
