The wind is picking up. I can hear it swoosh through the trees and things bang against the building. The tall trees bend and sway all in unison. My balcony is such that it's protected from the wind. It's been beautiful weather lately. Last night I got a 35 hour alert about possible flooding etc from hurricane Nina. Not sure exactly when she is due to hit the area, but I hope we are bypassed again. I live by the river so I don't know what will happen since they really only talk about the ocean.... Yesterday I had to go across one of the smaller river bridges several times. I lucked out. I was able to see the sun as it sets across the water. What a beautiful sight!
