Zamalek Aquarium

We arrived at the aquarium apprehensive after we read the reviews online. We saw several grottos that were connected by pathways and staircases. I was talking to A7mad and he was squinting off to the distant ahead of us. I said "What is it?" He laughed and said "Lovers making love." As we approached... Sign in to see full entry.

Update

I am writing this as I wait for the electric to turn back on once again. It's the third time today it went off. For the past two weeks with the except of 2 days the electric has gone off anywhere from 1 to 4 times daily. Usually about 4 times. Once it comes back on it's time to hit the showers. The... update

I quit taking my meds 2x a day. I now only take one round after I eat. The past 5 days I have not had one dizzy spell! Saturday I will go to the doctor to see if I can stop taking the meds for at least a trial period. It will be wonderful to not have to take these meds again. Sign in to see full entry.

It covers about 2 or 3 acres of land. It's full of greenery with places to sit and have a juice or ice... Sign in to see full entry.

Nile Queen

She reclines They painstakingly carry her Careful not to tilt to one side or the other Steady Balanced Her ship awaits her They lower the palanquin She graces the commander with an audience Bowsmen line the sides Below deck the men sit Glistening with sweat Awaiting the crack of the whip It snaps... Cairo Zoo

There are some things that I liked better there than at the St. Louis Zoo. Each is very unique. Both used to be in the top 10 zoos around the world. Now Giza's (Cairo's) zoo ranks in the top ten of the worst zoos. It was expelled from the World Zoo Association. St. Louis Zoo still ranks in the top... Sign in to see full entry.
