No, I didn't go to the parade. It was cold and windy. I've been to them in New Orleans as well as here in St. Louis. It's the last weekend before Mardi Gras on Tuesday. The biggest parade of the season is this weekend. Lots of women inebriated or not, flashing their breasts for some strings of beads. cars

well we couldn't get the battery to turn over even doing a jump with my son's car...sigh...we couldn't get the battery out because one of the bolts is rusted and my other son put it on too tight...sigh hopefully my maintenance guy has a tool to take the battery off and can take it for an all day... The car is going into the shop again today. The battery has died two nights in a row. It's not the battery or the alternator. So it must be that light that stays on too long. I made french toast for everyone yesterday. I took mine and put nutella on one slice and raspberry jam on the other slice and put together...yummy I washed their clothes and my DIL and I did the dishes. I've been bits here and there to do the acts of kindness. I bought flowers for my mom and daughter in law, bought the daughter in law chocolate covered strawberries, I baked a fresh loaf of banana cranberry bread and took it to the food pantry, lent son money so he could double it and give to me,... I have an interview next week. I should be excited but the job is making 2/3 of what I was making and even then I was barely making ends meet. So what to do?
