Another long day with a couple of naps in between the work. I have a helper tomorrow. I'm paying him 13 an hour since he has a truck. We will bring back to the house anything that needs to be thrown away. It's a shame that places are not taking donations. We have a lot of things we can donate since... Sign in to see full entry.

Oh, the wonderful stress and trials of packing and storing items. I found that several things that I had originally put in storage no longer appealed to me. I put them out to the trash. I thought I had the Explorer sold, but the lady was a no show. Thanks a lot! I could have sold it to someone else... Sign in to see full entry.

It's a beautiful day here in the Lou. A bit chilly at the moment, but at least no rain or snow. My grandson didn't want to go to bed last night. Finally, at 2:30am I told him to turn off the tv and go to sleep. His response: I don't want to. I want to stay awake forever. I'm not sleeping with you. I... Sign in to see full entry.

What a trip so far! I stopped at the Turkey service area along the turnpike. Some people wore masks. I went ahead and wore one to go in and use the restroom. The employees weren't wearing one. I bought an egg salad sandwich and sat outside in my car eating it. I notice others going in without... Sign in to see full entry.

Okay...and away I go! Exit stage left (anybody remember Snaggle Puss - this was his catch phrase). Please stay safe. Catch some rays before all this over. You don't want to look like a cast member of The Night of The Living Dead. I will try to catch up with all of you but not certain how much free... Sign in to see full entry.

I leave for St. Louis in the morning. My son is moving and I need to get everything of mine out of his house before he moves. It sucks to go at this point in time but I have to do it. Right now I am doing laundry and figuring out what I want to take as far as food, drinks and clothes. The less I... Sign in to see full entry.

I received my new copy of Quotationary last week. I love this book! Here is a quote from Abraham Lincoln "I am, as you know, only the servant of the people." Someone needs to remember that. Sign in to see full entry.
