Dress-up Friday was a big success for the five of us who did this. Our boss also wore a coat and tie so that really made six of us. We took pictures. People came to look at us. Today is the day we honor our fallen soldiers from all wars in our country’s history. The day is made all the more meaningful at this time because we are actively fighting in several places. It’s been about a week since I last wrote. I like to take breaks from time to time, but this was more of a forced break to start off with and then I decided not to write as much for a few nights. On my first walk of the day with my dogs in our backyard I sat in my chair out in the yard and just closed my eyes for a second. The early morning air was very still. There was not much noise.
