Even a Desire to do Good is to Dance With Selfishness

Any desire one may have is based in Ego. Even a desire to do good is to dance with selfishness. The very act of wanting anything, good or bad, removes one from the present moment and places one in the future. And living in the future is living without "God". To truly live with the Divine, one must be an empty vessel. Like a ship awaiting a captain, one must await Spirit for directions. There can be no desire. There can be no want.
