Monday, November 15, 2004Off to a so-so startThe Orthodox church observes the fast called Advent from the 2nd Monday in November until Christmas Eve there are six weeks. The first four weeks the fast allows for fish, shellfish, and vegetables, but no oil, meat, poultry, eggs, or dairy products. I'll explain after I understand more about it. I...
