And I thought I was bad.

In today's paper the copy editors put the word "temblor" in a photo caption about an earthquake in Nagaoka Japan. The sentence goes: "The boy's rescue lifted hopes four days after Saturday's temblors killed more than 30 people." There are two problems with this: 1) Not everyone knows that the word... It appears that some people are above such base communication aspects like spelling, punctuation, pronunciation, tense, mood. They just write and talk at 97mph and their brains seem to only visit occasionally, perhaps to check on the gist of whatever it is they are trying to get across. It is left...
