Logorrhea - Diarrhea of the mouth?

I just watched Spellbound, a documentary about the 1999 National Spelling Bee. The championship word is Logorrhea. Logos is the Greek word for "word" and rrhea is the Greek word for flow and the same ending of Diarrhea. So the excessive use of words is diarrhea of the mouth? Go figure. Sign in to see full entry.
