Allie and cat naps

This is Allie--isn't she sweet???? She is a total lap kitty. I was awake at 6 am this morning to feed and medicate all the kitties and do all the morning chores and what not. The coneheads are gone!!!

Took all three kitties that had eye surgery in for their follow up and all is well. No more lamp shade collars for them. The rest of the kittens are hanging on and I am so glad. Sad news and happy news

One of the kittens did not make it. I have been nebulizing, medicating, syringe feeding----you name it. Everything the vet would do, we did. Kittens cannot regulate their own body heat and when we had rescued them from the pound, a volunteer had "thoughtfully bathed kittens" only to let them air... Sign in to see full entry.

Kittens, kittens kittens....

That is my life these days-- but hey, that's quite all right. Thank you to all who read my post yesterday. This is Jazz-- we had to do so moving around last night because suddenly Sprinkles and Rosebud took to disliking her and we had to put her in a different room. Now she is sharing a room with Tilly. Today--- is it over-- I am still not even close to completing my to do list

Does anyone??? Today was spent picking up cat supplies and now we are home---- Process applications (yeah!!!!) and need to bathe kittens again. Kittens are messy messy babies---- But we love them. We came home with 13!!!!

I know better than to go to the pound during kitten season. We came home with 13 kittens. We are so full right now. I will be having mini break downs. The one good thing about kittens is that they are mostly adopted in pairs. Kittens socialize better that way and sanity will return quicker. Sign in to see full entry.
