Edmund Gwenn

Edmund Gween was Monty's co-star in the Broadway play, You Touch Me! This veteran character actor won a Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for Miracle on 34th Street ( 1947 ) for playing Kris Kringle (Santa Claus). He died in 1959 at age 81. Sign in to see full entry.

Will Geer

Will Geer was Monty's co-star in the Off-Broadway play, The Seagull ( 1954). Will is best known for his Emmy - winning role in the long-running TV series, "The Waltons" (popular in my househould growing up). Yep, Monty was in a play with Grandpa Walton! Tallulah Bankhead

Tallulah Bankhead was Monty's co-star in the Broadway play, The Skin of Our Teeth. A legendary stage actress, Bankhead is largely remembered by film buffs for her role in Alfred Hitchcock's Lifeboat ( 1944 ). She died in 1968 at age 66. (Monty worked with Hitchcock on I Confess ).
