Bears, birds, Starbucks and me, Oh My!
For some reason, a peculiar twist of my mind visualizes a completely different scenario than the one that was intended, in the new Starbucks commercials that are running now, during the holiday season. In one, a woman encounters a bear while walking in a snow-covered forest setting. She approaches the bear and puts her arms around the surprised bear, giving him a “ bear hug.” The incredulous bear raises his paws and hugs her back, in a message obviously intended to convey the spirit of the...
